Veteran’s Appreciation Day 2025: A Thanksgiving of Praise Celebration

Why We Gather

Veteran’s Appreciation Day isn’t just a ceremony — it’s a sacred moment of remembrance, gratitude, and unity. On Saturday, November 22, 2025, we’ll come together as a community to honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who continue to stand in the gap for others.

This year’s theme, “Thanksgiving of Praise,” reminds us that freedom is never free — and gratitude is more than a feeling. It’s a response. A calling. A celebration of lives lived in service to something greater.

🎖️ Who We Honor

This event is dedicated to:

  • Veterans who served with courage and conviction

  • Active Military who continue to defend our freedoms

  • Gold Star Families who carry the legacy of loved ones lost in service

  • First Responders who gave their lives protecting our communities

We will also recognize local heroes — first responders from our region who were killed in the line of duty. Their names will be spoken. Their stories will be remembered.

🎤 What to Expect

  • Guest speakers from across the community

  • Live music by Dennis Calmes and his daughter Jennifer

  • A keynote speaker to be announced soon

  • A free meal for all in attendance — because fellowship is part of healing

This is a family-friendly event with space for reflection, celebration, and connection. Whether you’re a veteran, a family member, or simply someone who wants to say thank you — you belong here.

In a world that moves fast and forgets easily, this day is our chance to pause. To remember. To honor. To give thanks.

We believe in the power of community. We believe in the strength of shared stories. And we believe that when we stand together — across generations, backgrounds, and beliefs — we become stronger, kinder, and more united.
